All in all a good result but you still need a sub keeper on the bench. The get out of jail card was well and truly used tonight! Great result and how inportant the last minute goal against Norwich is proving to be!!

To be faired I think we all feared the worse when Poke went off and a team in better form than Rovers, would have taken better advantage of Poke going Off. That said the rest Of the team played their part and did all they could to keep Rovers in their own half.I'm so happy I could kiss S***, well maybe not that happy ;D ;D

didnt we have a few thousand there last season? Think so but on a Tuesday night and when home gates have been very low, I think we should give a big thank you to those who went tonight. They sung their hearts out and played their part in lifting the team, when all seemed to be going wrong.

...and it was a sunny Bank Holiday fixture. Well impressed with the noise of the Gulls support tonight. Much better than at home. As ever.

That sounded one hell of a match - and superb support from the traveling Yellow Army!
I must admit that I would always have a sub goalie on the bench - but the counter argument is that both sub strikers scored.
It seems as if the team spirit is very good - impressed with the attitude shown by the players tonight and the passion shown by Carlisle as summariser. It does suggest that all the negativity, rumour and gossip about player attitudes spouted and taken as gospel by so many is probably incorrect.
I must say that the comments on dotnet absolutely do my head in - twisting everything as a negative.
Carlisle explained how Wroe had difficulty settling in because York played a different (and last season not too successful!) style. He said that Wroe was not used to working hard on pressing and getting to second ball at York. He had had to work hard in training to add that to his game, and now had won back his place as a far more rounded player. Of course, this was not understood but just relayed as "he played for a footballing side last season, so didn't get on playing for Buckle because Buckle doesn't play football.
Onwards and upwards. Come on you Yellows.

Well done Gulls - sounds like a real team effort ! Will be at Wrexham Sat. Looks like Thompson, Green, Benyon (and DSane ?) have given PB a real selection headache
