After all, who actually knows what goes on in the dressing room? Indeed. I suppose we just have to accept that some enjoy endlessly wailing and gnashing about what might (but very probably might not) have happened in the dressing room, whilst some will find that habit intensely irritating. By the way, I think Merse's comment about JM having a good understanding of dressing room psychology refers to JM having captained cricket sides at a very high level.

How much i irritate you is of little interest to me Jon. I'm here to discuss my team, i don't go out of my way to upset others, or comment on their ability to annoy me. Cheers for the factoid regarding JM. Must make Merse's suggestion true i guess.

I go to work and look what happens? come on guys I will confess I like to know what goes on in the dressing room and any other bit of information I get, yes I'm a bit nosy at times, but if all being a fan meant was I just watch a game for 90 Min's, I might need to look for another sport to support.
We all have different views and while we may not agree with the views some others might have, who are we to say they are right or wrong, far better to just disagree, but respect that persons right to have their own views.

I would humbly endorse those observation's made by TUFC01 from his self confessed "crap view" behind the goal and those of JMGull who knows far more about team leadership, sport and the associated psychology of it than Fonda and Enzo could ever hope to achieve. So when did we start dismissing peoples views on this forum merse, because they may not been a captain, or played the game or have a degree in psychology and when did we start trying to belittle other members, who's views we just happen to disagree with. No it has never been the way it has been done on this forum and do we really want it be a part of it now? Disagree with peoples views, thats just fine and it is what happens when you join in any debate, but can we please just reply to the points made on posts and forget any history or feelings we may have toward anyone. Thats why you need a bigger lenses Kev Fingers crossed Dave - I should be adding to my "Arsenal" this week. A work colleague of mine has given me first refusal on a brand new Canon EF Lens at a ridiculously cheap price!! Offers like this don't come around very often - so I shall be snapping his arm off VERY soon!!

I hope you get it Kev, I know how much you like photography, I once did it as a way to earn some extra money, but now I just take pitures for pleasure, I use a Fuji S9500, best of both worlds with this camera and I must admit I love it. ;D

Oh, its quite simple. It means that I got fed up of reading thoughtless and brainless bollox on the other site.I don't think you can guage much the radio from some of the BBC Radio Devon coverage I've heard as opposed to the excellent coverage and opinions you get on Five Live, apart from when Alan Green comments on a Man Utd game. Like I said, the penalty seemed a bit iffy but we probably deserved to be at least two nil down due to the start we made. They are a decent side and they don't lose many at home. The penalty decision didn't help but you can't wait to start playing after 20 mins and hope to be still at 0-0. I can assure you plenty of thought goes into my posts Chris, but cheers for the appraisal. And what was that then? 2+2=5?

I've got a Sony DSC-H7 at the moment. Its a super zoom (x15) non SLR. You can see the difference between mine and Kev's pictures especially the detail when focusing on objects closer to you. I took my friend Adam (an Australian work colleague) to the game on Saturday. I'll get him to post a few pictures as well if I can. His SLR put even the mighty Kev's to shame though!! He's can shoot 6 frames per second with his. He did so on Saturday and the noise made 10 people duck for cover!

Are you failing to read posts properly again Dave? For the life of me I can't see where something "in my humble opinion" equates to belittling someone.

Merse, what me failing to read posts properly again has it happened before? well I'll take your word for it, not one to fall out with my fellow members At the end of the day merse the forum welcomes all views and cares not how qualified the person making them are, as long as they are honest views and how that person sees it, then I will agree with them or not as the case maybe. Only those who joined to harm this forum would never be welcome and all the others are all equal and have a voice they are free to use.

I haven't suggested they shouldn't post their views, I've opposed their views and justified why I wholly agree with one particular poster who thinks as I do. Why is it one thing for you to oppose a view and another when I do?

Without wanting to extend this little misunderstanding any further than is absolutely necessary, it was probably the comment above that Dave is referring to Merse. It could be construed as somewhat ‘dismissive’? I’m sure we can all agree it was just a poor choice of words on your part, and put it all behind us.

That was how I viewed the remark and why I felt the need to state that all views are valid no matter what our status, we do still bow to those with greater knowledge mind you, that does include even merse when he is barking up the right tree of coarse
