For the second season running not to have: 10 French Trialists. Crap, unknown trialists with a hyp-hen in thier surname. A chairman saying that we can't attract players to the club. A wooden puppet possessed by a chairman saying "Bringalongafriend"... or is that the wrong way round. Bruno Meirelles on trial again. Leroy "Greenhorn" Rosenior, failing to build a football team and doing what he does better.... commentating on 5Live. Richard Hancox. Chris Roberts. A barren pitch on which to play football. A sense of complete dissappointment before the season starts. Stevland Angus. Lee Andrews. Feel free to add your own.... this list could go on and on.... ;D

For the second season running not to have: What a great thread! Here's mine..................... Not to have the ridiculous sobriquet of our manager being described as the "Future Fourteenth White Manager of England"Not to have virtually NO national TV coverage to look forward to. To reasonably expect to be looking at our league table from the top rather than the bottom. Not to have that ninny Tim Lovebite patronising us on Soccer AM. Not to have to go to Tin Pot Underhill and see "The Barnet1" get his fat arse stuck in the tiny seats! ;D Not to be so distraught at the plight of my only true football love that I'd rather stand on a muddy bank in the pouring rain at Bangor -On - Dee resembling Steve MacLoser under a brolly than sit in the dry under a roof at Rochdale getting abused by the Chairman's (fat and unfit) Son in Law! Oh, there must be loads of these!

Oh go on then ..............
Not to be met at the reception of TUFC by the smiling (not) Ms Handjob !!!!!
Not to have to read "if uncle Mike was not here we wouldnt have a football club"
Not to have a crank "I have 4000 leads commercial manager" exposing herself

Unfortunately it is true, to say her blouse was too small was an understatement.
Good pool player if I remember.

This certainly takes me back to the OLD dot net! Lots of references to some bloke I've never heard of called "Double Del(?)", his wife and a pool table!! Never knew what people were going on about back then and not sure I really want to know!! I hope we can look forward to lots more private jokes that only the "in-crowd" get!

Those were the days, poor old people always the subject of jokes etc, we have had more than our fair share at Plainmoor, may be a while before we get anymore like that, maybe we could start a list of them all.

Double Del banned me from the .com site for a year for mentioning the Gulls Travel Club on the official site when the club were trying to re-start their own travel club. Don't think calling him "Little Hitler" helped either though ;D

Don't think calling him "Little Hitler" helped either though ;D While never a part of the travel club, I started thread after thread about it. I simply felt that as the club had stopped it before, with no real care that many fans depended on it, then they should never have wanted to do it again. The travel club, stepped in and I understand ran with coaches half empty at times, but they kept it going and provided a service. It was as you know, only the firm who provided the team coach, who put pressure on the club, to let them run supporters coaches and old Mike nearly let them. It was clear that fans would support the travel club and so they should, I think the team coach firm soon worked it out, they would be running with empty buses.

Hmmn...............are you talking about a firm that was based at the garage in St Marychurch Road in Milber? Because if you are, it was told to me that Mike Bateson became the owner of that premises at some time................coincidence? putting two and two together and making five? or totally wide of the mark?

Must confess I never heard that he had become the owner, but it would make sense. If he hadn't bought it , you could understand why a firm providing the club, the team coach, would be looking to make money out of it. Still it never happened, if they had tried to run along side the travel club, they could have always bought an old BAYLINE bus to run.

I remember when "the busty one" resigned her position at Plainmoor, she sent all the club sponsors an email having a go at everyone and everything at TUFC. Two days later she asked me for a job.......................... I still laugh about it now.
Where are they now .......... has anyone spotted them.
