Is Russell on the way back?
Buckle has been rather dismissive about him but we know he tried to get him in January so who knows?
The Bristol Eve post have already linked him with a move back here.

Well we know we would really love to have him back.Maybe then we could go back to playing the passing game, instead of the long ball we have played most of the season.
The thing is does it work second time around. We have had many players come back a second time and most of the time it was a let down

Personally I am not a great fan of returning "heros". Alex was a good player. By many accounts he did well on loan at Cheltenham last season. Is he ready to drop down into the BSP? He has to maximise every opportunity given his age. He may feel that he can get one more season of league football in before having to consider moving down the ladder or taking up a coaching position. The BSP is a tough league for a creative player where opponents will look to close him down very quickly. I favour decent young talent with a bit of pace although I accept the need for an experienced "spine" for the team.

I have to agree with your remarks, I wonder if he would be strong enough to deal with some of the bruising players he would come up against in the BSP. I just hope that we do change our style of play for next season, Exeter, Burton, Cambridge and Aldershot, showed than football can be play and also get results.

I agree with your other examples though.
