Looking at our fixtures coming up in March, many you would feel are very winnable games and if we play like we did against Oxford and do not drop points due to poor decisions by the officials, we could find that come April we have truly cemented our place in a play-off spot.
Tue 3 19:45 A Grays Athletic Sat 7 15:00 H Rushden & Diamonds Tue 10 19:45 A Altrincham Sat 14 15:00 H Barrow Sat 21 15:00 A Northwich Tue 24 19:45 H Grays Athletic Sat 28 15:00 A Mansfield Town

Absolutely, we need to take this opportunity to push on and take the pressure off before a run of tricky fixtures in April. With Kettering and Wrexham having somewhat of a fixture backlog and Stevenage in the semi final of the trophy, don't see any reason as to why we won't make the play offs......

In theory looks good but there`s always the crap officials that seem to want to stop us!

Our fixtures look easier on paper. The trouble is that of those teams Rushden and Altringham are ‘safe’ in mid table and thus have little to play for but Grays, Northwich and Barrow are battling against the drop. Ask Kettering if Northwich rolled over as they only managed a 0-0 but beat us! I don’t think there are any easy games and hope that as has been seen before with our team that the Gulls do not become complacent. There have been occasions when the attitude of some of the players appears to be one of ‘we only need to turn up because we are the big guns’ only for that to bite them in the backside. The important thing to me is that Paul Buckle instils in the team the need to treat every game as a cup final because without that attitude we will drop points. Anyway back to half full as opposed to half empty…and as one bright spark standing next to me following the win at Cullompton the other night said….Torquay are still on track for the double!!

There are quite a few words you don't normally hear in the same sentance - 'Jon', 'handsome' and 'young'.
