Three times the number of the core fanbase have voted in "the most hotly contested vote in the club's history", and the outcome is a shirt with pink palm trees.
Surely this is a joke? It's good to have an element of light hearted fun after what, seven years of secrecy and worry, but I should be absolutely astounded if just one single person commits to purchasing this shirt.

Certainly, more popular with the younger element of the fan base. Think of it as more of leisurewear apparel with a Torquay United theme as opposed to a more traditional home shirt that you would wear to match days. May be able to extend sales outside of the traditional TUFC supporter.

For the home kit I would like to see less yellow and more blue. Yellow and blue stripes perhaps? And not pale lemon, pasty yellow Stig . Loved the darker more golden colour "yellows" we used to wear with a classic simple and traditional design. Had some classy looking kits over the years but last seasons was a complete mish mash IMHO.

Totally agree on a avoiding the pale yellow petef. Think I posted some time ago my prejudice against yellow kits stems from 40 years teaching PE at an international school. No matter how randomly we picked teams and assigned team bibs the yellow team always seemed destined not to win.It became a bit of a joke. Gold and Blue I can probably live with.

The very term 'yellow army' has always conjured up for me the image of 5000 Italian soldiers surrendering to a single Tommy in the North African desert.
