Tough luck Worthing.
Tragedy for Racine as Geoff Harrop’s boy’s boys beat them 4-3.
At least (if things go to plan) we can enjoy their brilliant attacking play whilst our team at least makes some effort to stop them rather than waving them through like we did this season and makes some attempt to exploit their dodgy defence unlike we did this season.
Joining Hornchurch and Chesham in joining us from below are Salisbury and Enfield Town.
First time we have met Hornchurch but three old adversaries for those who see football clubs as spiritual entities not legal entities.
New Salisbury formed in 2015, whilst we played a previous incarnation 2007-2009 and our reserves played them regularly in the Western League. Enfield Town formed in 2001 before the old club who knocked us out of the FA Cup in 1994 was wound up in 2007 after being hijacked by property developers. Confusingly, there is a club called Enfield formed in 2007 that plays at Bishop’s Stortford and has very few fans.

I've just got round to watching the highlights of this game. Goodness gracious me: we were worse than these two teams?!?! Well, yes we were and let's hope and pray that this season was the nadir of our performances. We simply cannot be this bad again.
