This squad equates to Johnson's £1.1 million per season legacy. How's that for an achievement? So upsetting watching these players represent our club at such a crucial period in our history. Where's the f**king common sense and leadership on and off the pitch?

Now Dawson crocked. Out for the season? With Marshall’s three match ban we will struggle to fill the bench. My initial thoughts were three. Merse has mentioned elsewhere he believes it to be four matches as he’s had a similar straight red already this season - for serious foul play too, I believe. If that’s the case, he won’t be taking any further part in the season. Absolute madness by Marshall by the sounds of it. Doesn’t really matter Rob. I believe he is available Monday due to the seven day suspension lag. Only three games left after that, so his season ends on Monday.

We sound the brighter of the two presently. Our nearest rivals all ‘in the points’ at the minute. Dartford winning. Eastbourne winning. Taunton level.

With two subs used up already, some players who would not want to play ninety minutes will have to. Truro will be pleased. Lapslie replaced by Ash. Sensible in that we will need Lapslie on Monday - especially if Dawson is out. Sounds like Ofori-Acheampong is buggared, but suspect he would not fancy the artificial pitch on Monday. Probably on the bench just to make up the numbers, hoping he does not have to come on. Gritts mentions Stobbs playing as an out and out winger is an unaffordable luxury when down to ten men. I would have sacrificed him rather than Archer who would put in a shift and try to cover more than one role.

Dartford and Eastbourne have won. Taunton have drawn. Tonight’s table looking worse than it has ever looked for any of us in our lifetimes. Not a first for any of us this season, is that. Here’s hoping it doesn’t get any worse from hereon in.

Dartford and Eastbourne have won. Taunton have drawn. I was thinking that needing a win last day v Havant was worst case scenario. Starting to think that might be best case! I think we will need a drink after that game whatever happens.

And yes were now in deep shit and going to struggle to get any result with the remaining fit or suspension free players. Sorry Aaron your no tactician or motivator and on field discipline should be a priority and drilled into then players before such an important game.
Rarely do I get angry and frustrated these days I've learned from so many past experiences but today Im really f*cking angry at our total indiscipline and ineptitude. Have no idea where we will be able to pick up the points now we're so poor and lacking belief.

Havant as good as relegated with today’s results. Not that it will mean anything in terms of our ability to beat them on the final day, of course.
Think our best chance of points in the interim is against Taunton. Simply owing to how many games they will have had to fit in prior to us playing them.
Truro the next best chance of anything before the final day. Don’t think them kicking off at 1945 tonight has as much bearing as some of their later fixtures if they are staying in Gloucester until Monday with two trips including the long one tonight for us in the interim.
Anyone know if Taunton was sold out or not. And if not, who the hell do I approach to buy a ticket? Not even sure where it is to be played, are we? Someone on one of the boards mentioned they’d asked about St. James Park?

That has been obvious all season. How much of a say he had in the recruitment of these losers, who knows? As for Marshall, he has been a walking red card for most of his time with the club, Downes can't legislate for Marshall's idiotic behaviour. Having said all that, Downes is clearly not the answer and is stop gap manager..presuming we are still in existence next season. Relegation is a real possibility, as is not satisfying NL rules to be part of the NLS next season even if we did stay up. The club is a shambles on amd off the pitch. Where do we go from here?

You said it and I have little sympathy he has always been part of the problem despite his friendly nature . Downes clearly not up to it tactically and left holding the baby but he should surely know Marshalls temperament by now shouldn't he? No stone left unturned they say when faced with adversity and that's the way we should be preparing for games. If he hasn't been able to sort out the defence and discipline out after five years under the last self serving idiot then there's little hope he can sort it out for the last few games. I have no idea where we go from here but more than likely relegated if this form and level of performance persists.

Perhaps it’s a dream and we are mid-table in League 2. I don’t think you could make it up how shite we really are and still playing the same shite that GJ did. I hope to god we don’t end up with the evil Edwards and Haymen show 😡 Hopefully Marshall will have had his bags packed for him. I’d rather the club continued without Downes, we couldn’t do any worse.

Had a ‘5 years ago’ memory pop up on my phone this evening. Woking away. The 3-3. Feels a bit different tonight to that evening.
