A mid-table clash.
Winners will be threatening the playoff places, losers lucky to stay in the top half.
The manager spins the "wonderful home form" line, but the fact is that the last four home performances have all been absolutely dreadful.
After luckily scraping four points from three games with relegation stragglers, we were ripped to shreds when we finally came up against half-decent opposition.
Let's hope we do not see a repeat of the St Albans fiasco.
You have to wonder if the CEO would still refuse to face reality even if we did.
Perhaps we could ban all fans to protect the manager from hurtful suggestions that he is not doing a very good job.
I was struggling to work out who would play alongside Booth at centre back if Marshall, Moxey, Tomlinson and Craske are all out injured.
Well we have loaned another inexperienced youngster in 6'4" left-sided Nelson from Colchester. He will probably go straight in to the starting lineup.
Jude-Boyd did well on debut despite only meeting his team mates at the services before the game.
On recent past performance, do not be surprised if the manager is surprised by who does and does not turn out to be fit when they report for duty today.
Come on you Yellows!

link - TUFC match preview and looks like two inconsistent mid table teams. link - following protest at the ground last Saturday the club have reacted by dusting off the rulebook for attendance at the stadium but suspect that trying to stop banners with Johnson out, etc. is not really going to pacify an increasing and growing disgruntled supporter base. Matty Hayward on Torquay talk gave a good analysis of this on their blog - linkGood to see some new players come in this week and it only takes an improved performance to get the crowd on side because we only really want to see our team win. Johnson has generally finished strongly in most of his seasons he has been here. Can he do it again or are we past the point of no return?

Yet another loss. What does it take to get a new manager? This is becoming farcical.

It's almost as if we need a defensive coach.

Not all bad news...at this rate GJ is soon going to be the best manager in the Southern Premier League South.

It's almost as if we need a defensive coach. Greetings from India where I’m attempting to eat more curries than Chelston, while also watching the 2nd and 3rd Tests. I suppose it would have been cheaper to subscribe to TNT Sports, but it’s too late for that now… Stig’s comment is exactly what I think when I watch supposedly lesser players cut through our defence like the proverbial hot knife. What does “Downesy” actually do if he is not organising an effective defence. He seems to be to defensive coaching what Peter Johnson is to recruitment…

Matty Hayward on Torquay talk gave a good analysis of this on their blog - linkThanks for this link. It’s an excellent article that succinctly identifies how Osborne is attempting to oppress the fan base. I would hope there are no Gulls fans who still think that Osborne has our interests at heart, but if there are then Matty’s article should make it crystal clear that our glorious leader is not our friend.
