link - some clarity on the Donnellan situation with him moving to Livingston in the New Year having signed a pre contract agreement. I trust GJ has done something similar, can’t wait for the unveiling 😀

I trust GJ has done something similar, can’t wait for the unveiling 😀 Quite the opposite. Paul Mulhern drops the bombshell that Theo Williams has returned to Fleetwood Town due to his injury, and raises the question of whether new Cod manager Charlie Adam will allow him to return to Plainmoor when he's fit. Nothing on the OS... Unless The Gaffer mumbled it in his Press Call, an item I refuse to listen to on a weekly basis.

There have been some very interesting comments recently about the lack of information regarding injuries to key members of the squad,
I have not been able to attend any match at Plainmoor since March 2010 owing to ill-health. Nevertheless, I do continue to maintain a keen interest in the fortunes of the team, and keep my own statistical records, which I'm afraid pale into insignificance when compared with some of the stuff which Jon trots out.
I recently watched an interview with Gary Johnson in which he explained that the reluctance to discuss potential loan signings is due to the danger of other clubs which have a financial or geographical advantage getting wind of them and jumping in first. I suppose that's fair enough, although it's a far cry from the 1960s when the following day's team was announced in the Friday Herald and loan signings were not even thought of.
I do find it exasperating, however, that the club seems to be operating a policy of silence about injuries, but for what purpose? What are the injuries currently afflicting Jarvis, Ash, Lapslie, Stobbs and a few others? The answer could possibly be found by scrolling back through match reports on the official site or the Herald, or whatever it is called now, but I really can't be bothered to do that. How are their recoveries progressing and when are they expected to have regained full fitness? How on earth is the club benefitting by withholding these details?
One final observation. My partner, who is a former elite marathon runner but knows comparatively little about football, takes the view that proper training and conditioning must be sadly lacking, given the volume of hamstring and other leg injuries which seem to be occurring almost every other week.

Dylan Crowe has gone to King’s Lynn. Permanent signing. Funny thing is that I have been praying for someone to come along and take him off our hands, but we are so short on numbers that I was not as delighted as I thought I would be to see it happen. The fact I feel we might need him shows just how desperate things are. Despite the problems with fielding a team today, it has to be a good thing to get a player who is clearly not fit for purpose off the payroll. Will we a) not replace him, b) replace him with someone even worse, c) replace him with someone capable of playing at right back? Answer should be c), but not sure Inwould bet on it with the current management.

Just for future reference, what has already been posted on the Hereford FA Trophy thread: Duane Ofori-Acheampong has re-signed on a 'short-term" deal, whatever that means. torquayunited.com/acheampong-returns-to-plainmoorHe played 34 matches across the 2014/15 season, scoring 7 goals.

Not wanting to start a rumour but I see that Ashley Yeoman was not in the Beesands lineup last Saturday. …. and Downsey has his phone number.
