Is Andrews injured or has he left the club? Think he is injured. On another note, both Wearne and Ellis have been cleared to play in the FACup - link

Johnson confirmed in his press interview today as heard in the yellow army podcast that all the loanees still here are available. (Okoli has returned to his parent club)

Shoddy of them, that. He is doing ok. I sort of feel the only way for Smith to get back in (barring say permanent deals for Ellis/Wearne) would be for Ness to be dropped and Marshall or, ideally, Moxey, go into the centre to pair with Ellis. I expect that will happen at some point. Perhaps when his 28 days is up? I like both Ness and Smith, having said that. We recruit better loanees than permanents these days.

I get the feeling that Marshall and Omar will struggle to get pitch time if Ness and Ellis prolong their stays. Both have been liabilities for one reason or another. Not sure whats happened to midfielder Scott Smith who has not featured in the last three games. No sign of Okali or Thompson of late either. Its a job to keep track. Like to be proved wrong and they come back stronger and better equipped if and when they're needed but I would imagine GJ will continue tweaking and weeding out the weaknesses that have put us in such a precarious position. Despite the recent upturn in fortunes there's still plenty of work to do and with so many loanees in the squad and with a number still out injured its going to be very difficult to maintain continuity on the pitch if players start returning to there parent clubs. The loan situation has gotten a little crazy now I think we have almost as many loanees as we do available contract players with the majority are performing better than the ones on contract which is a concern.

I struggle to comprehend how the club appears unable to inform fans of who is still part of the squad and who isn't. It is terrible isn’t it? I can fairly accurately track leaving and joining dates for our players through over a century, but the trail is now cold and I have no idea whether players are still at the club now or not!

Is Kieron Evans still with us? I assumed he was injured but no idea if he is included in the number of loans we have.

Of the recent injured Andrews, of course, made it back yesterday off the bench. Evans, injured, is a season loan and has started light training. Wyatt is also doing light training and should be available for selection soon. Thompson (who?) has left.

I’m aware that some people like to have a chat about our loan players, but surely when it comes to a position (ie. having an operation on a knee) and said player becomes about as useful as an ejector seat on a helicopter, isn’t it then time to tell said player that he’s going back to his club? We can then get someone in who isn’t on the physio table for the next six months!
It’s probably just me who thinks this way, so feel free to continue! 🐮
