I have to admit I was having a moan at Lewis as he banged that one in. Holman had been caught offside a couple of times just before as he gambled on an early through ball that was late arriving. Lemon was in acres of space waiting for a pass as Lewis took his time. CLE waited as long as he could but had to go in the end - and I was expecting Lewis to make Connor look like a lemon by passing to him just after he had gone past the last defender. Fortunately, Lewis did not pass! |

link -last 13 goals scored by a L or H, I think 2-0 made it 11, so now up to 14. Love the quirky stats that Chris comes up with on torquayfanstats. |

That report is worse than useless. Does Dave Thomas actually watch the matches he reports on? If he thinks we played 4-4-2 with O'Connell wide left in front of Martin, then clearly he does not. When I heard the lineup, I did think that we might line up as Thomas said we did. Before we even kicked off, it was obvious that O'Connell was lining up wide on the right not the left. A very obvious (to anyone who was actually watching) back three, O'Connell and Martin wing-backs and Little enjoying freedom to roam from centre midfield. |
