Still no news on the last part of pre-season schedule.
The Football League starts a week before us so we have to leap straight from Exmouth to League opposition rather than work up via National League South.
Would have made sense to fit in a game or two with Taunton / Bath / Weymouth after the league clubs - but they will all be fixed up now.
I cannot believe it makes sense to have a whole fortnight without a game before the big kick-off. At this rate, even Bournemouth under 12s will be fixed up elsewhere.

We do have a friendly at Ottery St Mary on Tues 2nd Aug but i think this will feature our youth team.

We do have a friendly at Ottery St Mary on Tues 2nd Aug but i think this will feature our youth team. Last season Ottery were near the top of the Peninsula League at Christmas with a very healthy 45 points from 22 games. Sidmouth were bottom. Then the whole Ottery first team decamped to Sidmouth. Ottery scratched three of their last 16 games, incurring a three point penalty each time. They lost the other thirteen: 0-9, 0-13, 0-8, 0-5, 0-9, 0-5,0-8, 0-7, 0-9, 1-9, 0-7, 1-8, 0-15 to finish with 36 points from 38 games. Sidmouth started to pile up the points, but Ottery had the satisfaction of finishing three points ahead of them. If they had scratched the last game, they would have finished below them, so the 15-0 defeat at Axminster felt like a win. Ottery wisely took voluntary relegation to the Devon League N&E section. As a marker, Newton Spurs Reserves are in the S&W section. If we send the first team to Ottery, lets get Dan Holman out of retirement.

Bolitho Park isn't easy to access-and they are encouraging those who attend to use public transport rather than cars as there isn't much of a carpark or suitable on-street parking.
They are laying on a free coach for Truro fans- but very difficult for our supporters if not going by car- getting a bus or train to Plymouth and another bus out to Crownhill.
Travel Club might be best option?
