The biggest and arguably the most important game in our recent history looms on the horizon with the massive question mark ---- Mask or no mask?...
Seriously though it doesn't really matter. People will do what they want to do and I see no way it could be enforced considering whats been happening in recent play off games and if the vast majority decided to drop their masks to cheer the players on.
We have to make noise and get behind the players tomorrow - impossible wearing masks. Do we really want or anticipate a sterile atmosphere?
Team selection is completely up in the air, absolutely nothing given away that may help the opposition. After watching the POS clip I fancy there is a distinct possibility that both Ben Whitfield and Danny Wright could both be involved. Good news I hope.
Whether from the start though is another matter. Kyle Cameron also may be shoehorned into the side not only for his defensive abilities but also from his aerial threat at set pieces but how or where will be up to the manager. I believe we need our best and most experienced available starting eleven.
Difficult choices and GJ will never shirk from if he believes its for the benefit of the team.
His recent interview on renewing his contract is great news and a boost for players and fans alike there's no one better at this level. Encouraging the way he talks of continued improvement in player quality and a very positive vision he shares with the owners whatever the result tomorrow. I would like to think much work is being done behind the scenes to prepare for an even better squad and season next term whatever league we end up in.
As GJ says we have to enjoy the occasion its no good being up tight and angry if the cards don't fall our way. Been here before many times it can be joyous or it can be hugely disappointing but what I do know is he will have covered every base to grind out the right result.
Play without fear lads its how we got here.
