With the best attack (27) in the league lining up against the worse defence (30) then what can possibly go wrong? Well it is Torquay is it not, heroic victories against top of the table sides before meekly going down to lower place teams. A new team for us though after their promotion and at a ground with home fans back for the first time this season.
Like us, Kings Lynn have only drawn one game this season, they have 4 wins, 3 in the last 6 games which suggests they are improving beating Woking. Dover and Barnet. It is the first of four league games remaining this month against teams currently in the bottom six so an opportunity to increase our lead at the top and increase the pressure on the chasing pack before a tricky trio of games in the middle of January.
No full backs were available again on Tuesday but with both Wynter and Moxey close to fitness it can be hoped that at least one will make an appearance. Other than that, we are at full strength assuming the walking wounded from Tuesday can shake off their knocks.

If what I read is true and Kings Lynn are asking for an eye watering £25 to get in, it will be interesting to see how many they actually sell. I know they've got to make up their short falls somehow but even in normal times I would think twice about paying that for a NLP game. Didn't Exeter City come a cropper a few years back when they raised prices to high for the fans stomach?

Ouch, with a cheaper alternative to watch the game and a predicted temperature of about 4 degrees during the match that could be the last straw......

Pleased to read we haven't added to the injury list after two pretty intense performances. Its always the biggest fear especially with the way we're set up to play and having three key players playing with painkillers on Tuesday is also a concern.
Kings Lynn up next and as suggested it would appear to be a foregone conclusion but we know all to well the run will most likely come to a halt against the most unlikely opposition. With Yeovil Town, who we play in a couple of weeks time also gaining their first league victory in an impressive display at Bromley, there are sure to be some stern tests ahead. GJ will undoubtedly be trying to man manage the knocks and injury situation over the next few games and will not be wanting to take any risks with creating long term problems and will hopefully recognise the signs dangers of burn out particularly with the likes of Whitfield CLE, Nemanee etc. The work rate of the entire squad though has been incredible. I haven't yet seen us relax in a game to preserve energy. Its GJ's style and successful recipe he's used at all of his previous clubs and doubt very much he will change as that in itself could create problems. Our intense playing style that has put us in such a dominating position in the league may have costs as we progress into the season and we must be aware of that.
Anyone know if there's a live stream?

Match day and loving being in the sweet spot of going to Plainmoor for home games and streaming away games. Just a pity that we are away next Saturday as that match will probably go the way of the Sholing with no streaming.

Best attack v worst defence. Neither team ever draws. 0-0 written all over it.
Looks like unchanged xi and bench.
We need to manage pitch time for Hall, Wright and Lemonheigh-Evans in particular until after Tuesday.
Johnson would like to replace all three with Buse, Umerah and Walters before 70 minutes in both upcoming games, but that needs us to steer clear of knocks and strains to anyone else.
Expect some proper squad rotation for the Trophy - but a little limited by Slough and Koszela being cup-tied. Hopefully Little, Moxey and Wynter back in the mix by then.

link - As suspected exactly the same team as on Tuesday with no sign of Little on the bench. Got a bad feeling about the quality of the streaming service this afternoon…

Got a bad feeling about the quality of the streaming service this afternoon… The highest price this season for easily the least effort in putting together a broadcast. Camera pointed at pitch, no preview or analysis at all. Commentary just cut in minutes before kickoff. Still, we only want to watch the game, don’t we.

Thought the replays over done, such as a free kick goes harmlessly over the bar and we miss some penalty area action at the other end. Hard going on a wet pitch in not great condition. Kings Lynn working hard and a nice half time talk for our team to look forward to from Johnson.

I only got back from watching my son play at 3.15pm and couldn't be arsed to subscribe. Is the TV coverage any good?
