Thought we had got our third but offside. Two nil at halftime. The game certainly has ebbed and flowed but towards the end of the first half we have been all over Dover like a rash and if we can keep this up then our goal difference could be much improved. Nemane unlucky not to score with the keeper pushing his shot onto the post.

They are overdoing the action replays and missing live action. Annoying.

Frustrating not to get more than two, but happy days when that is all we have to complain about.
Shape good. Fitness good. Confidence good.
Early days but feels like we are maybe just a goal scoring striker short of looking genuine title contenders.
May only be top for a couple of hours if Stockport do the business in the live BT game.
Our televised game at Hartlepool has added interest as between two of the early pace setters.

Missed the stream today had some important things to do but managed to catch some commentary. Sounded pretty good again - all about consistency both individually and collectively if were really going to be serious contenders. The squad seem to be growing more into the challenge as each game passes, must feel good to be top of the division at this stage and a huge confidence booster for everyone. If any of you watched GJ's weekly interviews shortly after we lost Jamie Reid he mentioned that he expected everyone to be chipping in with goals and it seems to be happening. Reid isn't getting a look in at Mansfield in what seems to be a poor squad who look destined to struggle again this term. Not good news for him and he must surely be wondering why he chose an almost sideways move. Have him back at the drop of a hat - we know what he can do but I doubt he would be an automatic starter now. Like to see more goals from the front men of course but I honestly don't care and the more pitch threats we have the less of an impact if we lose one or two to injury.
No Umerah, Kerr or Nelson again you have to wonder when they will get starts as Britton looks a good balance a with Wright and seem to complement each others style.. Randell is also making a huge impression - hope all three have their loans extended. Great start and surely better than we all expected but that's all it is a start with a long tough and very competitive season ahead and a couple of tough ones up next including Hartlepool on BT sport at the end of the month.
Note: Stockport now level with us at the top after scoring a late winner in the last five minutes v Chesterfield. Hope the Chesterfield manager hasn't had a heart attack! Janneh scores his first league goal- the winner for Newport County V Tranmere.

I actually counted 14 chances in the first half alone! Their keeper had a very good game, we also hit the post twice and had a goal disallowed for offside so but for fine margins could easily have been five plus. You have those games where you think how did we not score? Similar to that I suppose except we were so dominant we were unlucky to just get two! The Moxey / Whitfield partnership on the left is quality and will be responsible for a lot of assists this season.
