After getting the first game out of the way after a six month wait, the second is just three days away. The lunchtime kick-off means many will be working so not such as great a demand for live streaming if indeed available.
The emerging players of a team that was until very recently a Premier League team should present an entirely different challenge to that of Helmel Hempstead with more pace and a better passing set. I wouldn’t call it an injury crisis yet but the lack of senior players on the bench was a bit of an eye opener today with echos of the situation from 12 months ago with mainly midfielders missing.
The good news is that Johnson is expecting a couple of players back on Monday and another couple a week or two after that, or before the season starts, just as well with just 14 senior players available against Hemel! That included two second years pros, both actually having good games and an unused keeper. Even the first year pros were nowhere to be seen.
So, all being well, maybe two out of Andrews, Hall, Little, Buse and Warren will be making their debut for the season in this game.

I'm a bit concerned regarding Little and doubt we will see him starting for a while. Have to treat him with kid gloves until we know he is 100% ready after all he went through last season. A player I'm certain is crucial to GJ's plans. Early days though and more games to get up to speed for those fully fit. A very busy schedule ahead once the season is up and running and vital we keep as many fit as possible so no risks will be taken with even the slightest niggle.

link - Good to see that the live streaming of Hemel was deemed a success and for those free tomorrow daytime, Bournemouth is also now available for streaming.

Was working so not able to view game, but glad Umerah on target again, who knows we might not miss Reid after all.

Encouraging performance including a few players many of us would not consider as first choice. Strongest squad we've had for years IMHO hope we can capitalise on having competition in all areas, strength in depth, youth, and experience.
Early days but It looks a good blend and GJ must be chuffed at what he's already seeing.

Very promising. With the season being a month shorter, we will need the full squad and with Slough and Koszela putting in good shifts there are not really any squad fillers now....
