Interesting draw.
Two sides in dreadful league form zero points in five games from us and just three points in five for Halifax.
The competition is pretty meaningless but served its purpose on Saturday with a result and performance that may just have renewed some belief and confidence.
Next Saturdays game against Chesterfield is far more important. Another banana skin in the making.
We just never seen to perform against the divisions struggler's.
Saturdays performance needs to be followed through over the next few weeks and consolidating our position is paramount.
One things for sure our defensive record needs to improve dramatically If we still dream of challenging for any play off spot.

I have a feeling, that our league form, will improve significantly before we play Halifax. On saying that though, even if we only get one point in the next five games, that's an improvement!  |

Chesham (Buckinghamshire) Southern Prem ( Same league as Truro, Tiverton,Dorchester etc)

Actually an opportunity to play certain players either coming back from injury or those not making the starting XI. |

Normally I would wish us to treat this competition with respect and make a concerted effort to win it, however seeing as we are in a strong position in the league and the ever present fear of too many injuries occurring hanging over us, I wouldn't blame Gary Johnson if he treated with little less respect than normally.

Trophy game could still happen tomorrow... but I bet Yeovil would much rather it didn't. Call me a cynic, but what chance no test results in time so Trophy game conceded, then all clear results come in leaving them fresh for Boxing Day? |
