I think a draw today was a fair result to both sides and when you consider that Dagenham are now on a eight match unbeaten run and all our injuries then a point today can perhaps be viewed as a positive.
Covolan was my man of the match making some very good saves and is now likely to be number 1 for the season. A clean sheet is also a plus point considering where we were a few weeks ago. There was a particular dicey moment 10 minutes into the second half where Dagenham had a number of chances to score in quick succession.
It was not one way traffic by any means. Davis had a good shot saved, Andrews hit the bar late on from a free kick and Keating had a very good penalty appeal turned down as the referee must have thought he got some form of contact on the ball before hacking down Ruairi from behind.
The good news is that Buse held his own in midfield on his first start and Keating certainly was a threat when he came on. Kalala had one of his off days and Reid was or was kept very quite. I can only remember one run in the first half where just as he seemed to be outpacing the central defenders the ball was just taken away from him. Perhaps most importantly, no new injuries going into the Tuesday game.

link - penalty incident - managed to pause this at the point of contact - the ball is on the line of the penalty area with Ruairi’s foot just behind it and their defender sliding in from behind with both feet, possibly getting the ball but After contact with Ruairi’s foot with this contact continuing into the area.

We were almost in line, defender came from behind, penalty imo, dare say we would have missed it!!
