As the players arrive back to the club after the best part of a 2 month break, time to focus on pre-season with the first game coming up in the next fortnight. 15 players signed up which could mean a lot of game time but likely to be supplemented with a mixture of trailists and youth players.

Not too long to this opener and I may possibly have the opportunity to make this game if all goes to plan.
In time honoured fashion it is unlikely that anyone will have more than 45 minutes of pitch time so with Liam out, that suggests we will need eight to make up numbers with a possible loanee or two or even another signing to supplement the normal youth team and trailist additions to the squad.

I know this in wrong thread lol but coming home 12 August and great news can make home game on 13 Aug v Maidenhead can't wait, I always wear my gulls shirt when I go and watch hull kr so will return compliment and wear kr shirt at that game,wifey and daughter and her boyfriend to will b there,so b rude not to have a few beverages in boots en route to game haha hope to see a few of you in there so can put faces to names

Bideford keeper just tipped a Hall shot wide and then he narrowly headed wide from the resulting corner

I think Bideford should have scored from a long range shot that hit the bar and bounced on or just behind the line but not judged to be a goal

Good save with his feet by the Bideford keeper from a Reid shot. A goal for Torquay correctly chalked up for off side

Reid scores from a quick counter attack just before half time after being well set up by Kalala to get off the mark.
Stand out player for us was Kalala who grew ever more influential as the half wore on particularly after he went onto the left wing and became our main outlet.
Duku is full of running and promising signs of establishing a good partnership with Reid.
Quietish half for Little but reminds me a bit of Mansell
Trialist C at 14 is a very familiar face that is rumoured to be coming back in midfield
