So another morning breaks upon the land and we head for Aldershot, a place which holds many memories for me: where I did P Company (no she wasn’t one of the locals) and other things.
We (TUFC) head there today with an ever increasing mountain to climb, carrying a rather large abacus to check the results on the bus home. Will this be the day when the numbers don’t tally and we are officially gone, or will there still be a chink of light somewhere?
I’m going to play a lovely song by Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens to save any confusion) which is inspiring and uplifting, which is what the players need at this present time, because there’s no bugger at Plainmoor can lift them it would seem!
Yusuf converted to Islam a few years back, and after looking into the faith I noticed that Islam is quite peaceful by nature. Meaning, that if you don’t convert there will be a piece of you here and a piece of you there.
Enjoy the song…let’s hope someone doesn’t spoil it!

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11845289/BBC-takes-Gary-Lineker-AIR.htmlOh so many years ago, MOTD and MPFC were the only two things that could drag me out of the Dumpling or Butterfly early…ish. All about the football and delivered by competent people. Now we have this, all about look at me with a spattering of football! “oh Garry that was a wonderful 37 minute expose on how to pass a ball.” “Oh Allan, you are awful…but I like you.” One sanctimonious prick talking to yet another sanctimonious prick! Being genuinely honest, I would derive greater pleasure out of watching “The Little White Dot” disappear than watching the Garry & Allan Love-In! No doubt the Sanctimonious Prick will return, and be given more money! On the bright side though, that picture of an empty studio seems much preferable.

Players refusing to do interviews and commentators also now boycotting means a silent show of highlights is what will be on offer this evening. Also Football Focus and Final Score presenters have refused to take part.
Hopefully Braverman’s soundbite illegal proposal aimed at the lowest common denominator of hatred with no likelihood of implementation ahead of or after an election has enough of that portion of the electorate more pissed off she cancelled Match of the Day. She can weigh that one up electorally for herself.
Farridge obviously had his offer to present the show turned down.

Solidarity is one thing (ie. to stand with Ukraine) but this just shows that these people are all as pretentious as each other.

Not only have they concocted a plan which is horrendously in contravention of any levels of human rights and which will, hopefully, put paid to any chances they had of being returned at the next general election. They have also brought about a catastrophic effect on MOTD, which is one of the nation's favourite programmes, and a number of other football based shows to boot. In my view, however, there is a silver lining. Most MODT programmes have historically taken up about 75 or 80 minutes, and yet tonight all of the important highlights were shown in 20 minutes. This means that Lineker, Shearer and Wright, among others, have spent about an hour talking about every game in normal times. We can't do without the commentators, that much became clear tonight, but we can certainly do without all that rabbiting.

So what I suggest you do, is contact her family and ask them if they think the government is wrong by concocting a plan which is “Horrendously” in contravention of any levels of human rights!

I understand that Lineker is on a £800,000 salary a year and that ITV are sniffing around him with a contract worth three times that. Not his fault but his original salary would give us a bleddy good playing budget, surely that can’t be right 🧐?

Allegedly, the stupid British public give the BBC around 4.000.000.000 annually, so the likes of Lineker feel it is their right to look upon the common people as if they were a piece of shit on his shoes!

Watch the Big Match Revisited on ITV 4 or online at ITVX and see how it was done before Sky started buggering about with pundits and Tactic Trucks. All you got after each game was Brian Moore saying a couple of sentences on the main match and then onto more highlights. The extended highlights of the main game actually gave a sense of how the match was played out, not just the goals and near misses.
