www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-63819482Personally, I think this is being milked for all it’s worth, as I too would have asked the question ‘where do you come from?’ I though, would have recognised instantly where the conversation was going and stopped it there, but some old toff who wouldn’t know her arse from her elbow in that situation didn’t stand much chance!

I for once agree with you. It is perfectly plausible that Lady Muck meant no offence and was genuinely interested in that person's ethnic heritage, after all a lot of people claim the nationality of long dead ancestors as part of their identity (e.g. Irish American, Anglo-Indian etc). This over sensitive reaction ( if that is what it is and not somebody trying to milk it for the celebrity value and coin the TV interview fees) is becoming an Orwellian double speak witch hunt. |

I had a quick look at the charity woman on that clip, and thought she’d had the Plagues of Egypt directed at her rather than a misunderstood conversation with a silly old lady! Julius Caesar only said ‘up yours Brutus’ and he was done in! On the bright side, even if you only agree with me once, at least on that occasion you were right. 🧐 |

Our English language newspapers are not good enough to wrap chips in these days (God that dates me!).
Saw a short article today with a small print headline about the World being closer to nuclear war than at any time in the last 50 years.
Immediately above was a lengthy article with banner headlines about Meghan's favourite soup.
The World has gone mad. Probably always thus mind as did you know the son of God was going to be called Gary until Mary stubbed her toe?
Mind how you go out there! 😉🎅

Hats off to the ambulance service. 🎩
The woman next door (she of Rishi fame) slipped on the ice this afters and dislocated her hip. Late eighties and weighs a ton (the woman…not the hip) but we managed to get her back in the house.
Ambulance arrived after about an hour (which is genuinely good considering where I live) and out stepped two of the most beautiful creatures I have ever set eyes on! So along with these two visions from heaven and three men who were at the back of the queue when looks were given out, we managed to get her in the wagon.
Well done ladies. 💋

Another load of snow, another bloody power cut…fourteen hours!
TFF members and guests, will understand my pain, my anguish and my feelings of total isolation and despair! 😩
Russia could be nuking Ukraine…Kim Jong Un could be nuking all those around him…David Beckham could have eventually realised that he is a hypocritical tw@!
The above concerns were of course minuscule compared to my despair over missing out on being able to listen to The Grail! 👂
A competition which myself, and others, prize above all things. So imagine my surprise and delight to find the match had been postponed. 😮
Now I can listen to every bone crushing tackle…every career changing smash…every cry from a tortured being writhing on the ground screaming: ‘what the fu<k have I done to deserve this?’
I feel a song coming on. 🤔
