POLL: Which city should host Eurovision 2023 after shortlist announcement?
Don’t host it, spend the money on clearing the back log of operations of people in severe pain - about 800 operations based on spending £10,000,000 to host.

As rjd is tied up at the moment (each to his own) my thoughts on today’s match.
Maidstone seem to be a Doppelgänger of ourselves, WDL the same, and on the same days as us. Only difference being the score line, as they seem to like conceding goals.
I know a lot of people will think I’m crazy, but I’m actually going for a win to the mighty gull’s…own goal of course!

That will teach me to be flippant about our goal scoring capabilities. Rumours abounding concerning GJ, which have been put to bed now. He did say about twenty times in his post match chat that he would see how the players responded on Monday, which indicated he was not about to leg it. I do feel sorry for GJ though, because he’s capable of managing at a higher level, the league above certainly. We all know that Sharkey saved our club from being like the Dinosaurs and pumped in vast amounts of his own honestly earned money to save us and continues to do so to this day. But even though Sharkey is a man of integrity, honesty and obviously has a great love for our club, even he must find it difficult to compete with the big investors and give GJ enough funds to mount a promotion challenge. 🫶 I notice that Chris Hargreaves has been made MOTM, so should GJ ever up and leave, I wonder if Chris Hargreaves would make a good manager for the club? 🤔 |

Seems to be Saturday so I expect there is a game on! Difficult to tell. I did get excited when I saw a mention of Southend but then found it was a programme from 2000! 😉
I can put the round ball out of my mind today as off to Sandy Park to watch some very large English ladies running forcefully at alarming velocity into equally large American ladies! 🏉
Over on another forum the Football ladies are often referred to as the Pony Tail brigade. Best of luck if anybody fancies saying it to this lot! 🤣

A thread to tell us we are yet again playing in a 4-4-2 formation, a thread to tell us of the almost inevitable result…I can understand having no match day thread.
