I expect the the oldies are rubbing their hands in glee at the prospect of a very select group of @100,000 people with an average age of 72 get ready to destroy the future of both the youf and this country, a future that those oldies won't be around to experience. Goodness, I didn't think anyone would condone what was happening in that picture...I hold my hands up and admit I was wrong!  If those two quite obviously brain dead individuals are the future of this country...I'll be more than happy to be dead along with the other 100.000!  |

That's certainly how the country felt...if not exactly how it happened!  Now, as PP has rightfully mentioned, a load of ' Old Farts ' will choose the next leader of the country! There will be more ' Back Stabbing and Intrigue ' than there was in Roman times! I'm hoping that Mr Blobby will be chosen...as he seems the best of a bad bunch! With that will come another General Election...sigh! With that also will come a Tory or Labour victory...and the crap will continue! Sigh!  |

Just watched some of the banquet at Buckingham Palace, and was struck by one thing.
Where have Prince Charles' chest full of medals come from, surely not for outstanding valour in military conflicts?

Here's something else for people to comment on, if they are remotely interested enough.
Jo Brand is a fat, ugly, disgusting and extremely unfunny woman who is well known for her outrageous so-called jokes. I know that many people on here dislike Nigel Farage, but they do not include me as I respect him for always answering direct questions with straight answers, irrespective of what he is actually saying.
Just imagine that this woman's pathetic attempt at a joke were heard by someone with mental health problems who thought that she was being serious and who then went out with some battery acid to throw over a politician. It may have been a joke for people who appreciate that kind of "humour", but it is so dangerous.
I really hope that the police get involved in this matter and that this lardass is removed from our TV screens in the same way that Jeremy Kyle has been. Sadly, it now seems that the BBC are refusing to criticise what she has said and so she will be free to continue making these disgusting innuendos.

The rise of acid attacks, mainly against young women, is a truly despicable crime and no laughing matter. We also should consider that Jo Cox was murdered in her constituency a few years ago after an attack and while I generally support the right of comedians to shock for me this over steps the line and will be interesting to see whether the police thinks there are grounds for prosecution.

It is no wonder this once great country of ours is now deeply divided, although with a just about 50/50 split on the burning issue of EU membership it is of some comfort that in many countries such deep divisions would have resulted in civil war. Our liberal democracy can mostly debate in a civilised manner without resorting to violence. I think it is fine to say you don't find a comedian funny (I don't find that Rangathingy who seems to be on just about every programme these days at all funny) but insulting remarks about their personal appearance seem to me to be unnecssary. Call me a 'snowflake' if you like, but if so I am a 67 year old snowflake who is due to melt! For Phil's benefit I will veer it back to football.....Although elderly I look damned smart and respendant in my 1899-2019 Gulls tee shirt |

rjdgull While I generally support rjd's right to shock TFF's female readership, this for me over steps the line without indicating that wherever such information relates to, it is in direct contrast to the trend being experienced here in Britain, where acid attacks on females are noticeably dwindling whereas the number of male victims rises substantially. As for Stewart's comments about Jo Brand's appearance, when taken together with his comments about the personal appearance of both Teressa May and Ester MacVey it just demonstrates what a shallow individual he is.

As the sun was shining for the first time in a week, I decided to take her for a spin...travelled less than fifty yards...flying down a hill...hit some grass...flew over the handle bars! Smashed my ribs (it only hurts when I breath) and smashed my arm...happy days!  |
