Well of course chelston I have never claimed to be sane! Nonetheless my Devon born mother and father taught me the correct way to prepare a Devon Cream Tea so it is not even open to debate! 🤣 We can trace our family tree (Mothers side)back to St. Giles on-the-Heath, so I guess that's where the loooooooove of jam on first comes from, but I much prefer Ivor Dewdney to Ginsters paaaaaaasties. Is their shop still open in Newton Abbot? |

So we’re a week away from predicting the outcome of the season.
I had thought about chucking a monkey on us, but then realised that in another couple of months there would actually be a monkey around our necks…in other words, The Grail! So no bets from me.
In my opinion The Grail cost us direct promotion last season and will do again this season should we get beyond the first round!
Never easy supporting TUFC, but when we orchestrate our own demise, it somewhat pisses me off.
Still, as Forrest Gump would say: ‘Stupid is, as stupid does.’

So as expected (by two of us at least) Biden has turned into a dithering idiot!
The world waits to see what the US is going to do about Afghanistan, and Biden walks around the White House garden drooling!
China knows the US is weak with Biden in charge, and is again looking towards Taiwan.
On the bright side though, all the refugees in Afghanistan are now being flown into this country which saves them a long walk…so every cloud eh! 🙄

American troops now being told to leave Afghanistan by the end of August, or there will be repercussions…and this is by a Rag-Tag army covered in dust! The interview is amazing, although I didn’t watch all of it because of the condescending nature of the awful woman interviewer. The Taliban guy was brilliant, and answered all the questions (as far as I got) unlike our rabble of leaders. The reply to the question on the chaos at the airport was brilliant! There’s an add which says ‘The Futures Bright’, and with a feeble Biden in charge…it might well be! 🤯

Sorry about that, I was totally lost for words! Watching what is happening in Afghanistan does that to you. Watching what is happening to America since that decrepit old man took over does that to you. Watching even more immigrants flood into this country from every point on the compass does that to you. |

Oh how I hanker for the simple days of yesteryear, a simple thing like getting a second post. Nowadays of course, it would be nice to even get a first post!
I occasionally import items from China, because basically it seems to be the only country in the world where you can actually get anything. My latest item took a week to move through China and every time it moved it was logged, ending up with about 15 updates to where it was or where it was going. That item is now in the UK…and guess how long it has been here…a bloody week tomorrow! Unmoving-Untouched…I can’t think of another word beginning with Un?
That is my latest item, the previous one arrived in the country on the 12th of August, and that has been held by customs for nearly a month…OK, I do have form so that could be something to do with it!
Right, I’m off to see how the team I have a bet on are faring, guess where they are playing…China.

Amazingly, one of the items actually turned up today!
Mrs Register was quite surprised when I opened the package. I put her at ease though when I reminded her of the old saying: ‘You can never have enough four headed Namgyalma statues.’
