Things were not looking good when we found ourselves 2-0 down against a Yate side that caused our defence no end of problems early on.
We pulled back to lead 4-2 at half-time and ended up 7-2 winners. After such a jittery start, you have to admire the way our boys calmly stuck at their game and played their way out of trouble.
Olaf Koszela was the star with four well taken goals and a few party tricks later on. Cole Harford also helped himself to a hat-trick from midfield - including a confidently taken penalty and one that looked yards offside.
One player from each side red-carded in the second half for reckless challenges - more impetuous over-enthusiasm than willful violence, but in both cases clearly dangerous play nonetheless.
Home again in the first round proper against Didcot Town or Totton & Eling - having avoided the likes of Argyle, Exeter, Bristol Rovers and Portsmouth in the draw.
