is that yes the whole ground is open or no just the stands? Don't know. Normally the whole ground would be open but World Cup SF may bring the gate down. Fancy the Bench for a change of scenery? Would expect to play our strongest team in the first half and a stream of trialists and youngsters replacing most of them at half-time or during the second half. We have 15 players, but that includes Koszela who is a first year YTS in old money - best not to think of him as first team squad for now. If Gowling and Pittman are still on the naughty step, that leaves 12. Bass Wynter Essuman Sokolik Davis Bawling Hall Nabi Banton Williams Reid or Keating You could set them up 4-4-2 or move Wynter to centre-back, Bawling to right-wing-back and Banton in the hole. If Gowling were selected or a new player signed, that would open up far more options. One of my biggest bugbears last season was that we failed to get the best out of Young by sticking him in midfield with one or two promising but lightweight youngsters. Would hate the same fate to befall Hall. I hope that a new combative midfield beast is on the way, or failing that Gowling plays to allow Esuman or Sokolik to play as a holding midfielder - either in front of a back three or a flat back four. |

TU v FG or a world cup semi?
Think Ill be watching the WC Semi.
Cant see that many there tonight for this warm up.
Lovely evening though hope its enjoyable - we need some reports back!
