A lovely early Christmas prezzy! Wasn't the best sporting weekend for me. Cannot see past 5-0 at the moment as 20 Aussie wickets seem unlikely to fall in one match.

Our best chance of it not being 5-0 would be for considerably more than three hours worth of rain delay in either Melbourne or Sydney leading to a draw.

Has anybody noticed a trend? 2006/07 Australia 5 England 0 in the Ashes, Torquay United bottom and relegated 2013/14 Australia 5 England 0 in the Ashes, Torquay United bottom and relegated 2017/18 ? Great news from Australia. Australia 5 England 0 in the Ashes, Torquay United bottom and relegated is NOT going to happen! My guess would now be Australia 4 England 0 in the Ashes, Torquay United 23rd and relegated. Much better! Could even be as good as Australia 3 England 0 in the Ashes, Torquay United 22nd and relegated. Or am I being ridiculously optimistic?

Biggest ever chase at the MCG. Have that Melbourne. All hail the white ball kings.

Clutching at straws guys! The only game that really counts is the long game "test cricket"! We smashed you in the ashes which is the pinnacle of test cricket, you can have all the others as they don't even compare!

It’s still on. 3-0. All the cliches coming out about not being bothered about the white ball, despite them being in the middle of their showcase white ball domestic competition. The embarrassment of it all.

Winning the ODI series after losing the Ashes gives me the same buzz as winning the Devon Bowl after getting relegated in 2007 did.

Ball tampering by the Aussies, surely not? Given the Aussies' blatant cheating, I guess that the winter Ashes series should be declared void.
