We don't need apologists for GI, we need measures in place to ensure safety from relegation. Thus far there seems little concern or actions to address our plight. Relegation would most likely equate to oblivion for TUFC. Sadly, our new "custodians" seem to have an air of ambivalence when they needed to hit the ground running rather than ruminating!

I'm a realist these days not a fanciful dreamer so please tell what did you expect him to say? Something to give me hope...

Bringing in new players and avoiding relegation would give us all more hope for a brighter future. ...

I don't know, AJ may see things more inspirationally than you give him credit for. Radio Devon commentator on the game asking for the new owners to put their money where their mouth is and act as I write. Can't blame him for his frustration. Yes, indeed, we are having to play with the cards we are being dealt, Flo. And we are entitled to pass comment on it even if we don't own it. Pete F does indeed capture the where we are with things very accurately.
It is too tiring to worry about GI all the time, but have they really earned the right not to be criticised. Of course they haven't. This would put them in a League of their own in terms of TUFC ownership, not least one presiding over potential relegation to Conference South. Actions not words are needed by our owners more than ever. They were before this crucial run of games ending in Guiseley (H) as most could see and they did not act.

You say dropping a League may be their plan, Flo? I presume you accept that maybe some wouldn't be delighted with that, however business savvy it may or may not prove. You tend to get fans' perspectives on fans forums, Flo.

Don't panic the twats in charge have a five year plan - they will make some dosh through property development and build us a spanking new stadium for errr Subbuteo?

Maybe something has stirred? I'd be very surprised, whoever the owner was, if Nico survives this latest defeat.

No change will mean no change. This isn't a hard luck story. Changing the manager is the only thing we have left, even if it is for a bit of dead-cat-bounce.
Mark Yates is being mentioned but even if it isn't him, it can't help to try someone else. The current manager doesn't seem to be able to change things.

Perhaps if the twats in charge had signed a striker instead of paying £1000 (apparently?) to Harrop that would have aided our plight, I wish GI would have ploughed the back of house wages into getting in some decent players to keep us up. Once that major objective had been achieved, then they can build for the future.

I think it is feasible that GI did not fancy King Kev from the get-go and as a result have not given him money for new players.

Not GI RSL. Makes little difference neither have any interest in the football club and it is very likely it will wind down to a sustainable level. Probably a level at players where have to pay their subs each week!! I believe RSL care little about where we end up just as long as the club can support itself and they can persuade the council to build a multi use complex where TUFC will just be a sideshow.. The official line is obviously different if you studied the recent calm laid back "unshaven" (One of the boys Faragesque- surprised he didnt have a pint in his hand) interview with Clarke Osborne and read between the lines though in all honesty what else do you expect him to say. He needs desperately to keep the fans staff, manager and local Council onside long enough to push through their business plan and TUFC will be bottom of the list in priority terms. Its easy to judge things on face value something, I'm guilty of myself KN is the easy target, the scapegoat his only sin was not telling them to stump up some cash or he would f**k off. Clever people these city business men who care little for individuals like Nico or insignificant football clubs who get in the way of making big profits.
