After a midweek set back we travel to Boreham Wood, the scene of our turnaround last season. I don't think Nico will be making many changes and it will be up to the players to buck a poor away record so far this season.....

All round pretty feeble display - we do not seem to have any aggression, pace or ability to make cutting passes to pose any serious threats to Borehamwood. This could be a massive second half as we need to get a goal back at least and play in a manner that does justice to the shirt. Just struggling to see how we can reinvent things at present. Just like last season.

Since my first game in 1961/62 season I have been following what I thought was a football team - I now realise that this was an incorrect assumption. TUFC from the top down - you are pants!

<< Shakes Head >>
Thankfully I fell a sleep during most of the second half. When I awoke, thought it was a terrible dream.....

To quote Yogi Berra....a case of deja vu all over again! Without serious investment it looks like we will be in another relegation battle. Is there light at the end of the tunnel?

The sad thing is that without some form of inward investment in TUFC the most likely outcome is that eventually the Plainmoor doors will finally close forever. If this happens (and I hope it does not) it would no doubt be more than interesting (with the benefit of hindsight) to determine the series of poor decisions made over the past few seasons that resulted in our demise! Could be a long list!

Well, what can you say after the last two games. Not a lot I would have thought. Whilst our home form is better who have road our luck against Dover (who hit the post in the last minute) and York (who hit the pots and bar in the second half).
I don’t much about formations whether it is diamond, Christmas tree or the Funky Al Fonso. However, I think we are missing pace on the wings; Sparkles ain’t no winger in the traditional sense. I think most of the local simpletons would like to have seen Nicho take a punt on Huuuuuuuuth.
I would like to see a Fans’ Forum to address some of the concerns that most, if not all fans are worried about. It is possible that Dave Phillips is worried about the local thickee’s bringing their pitchforks and lighted torches but perhaps one could be organised ‘behind closed doors’ with some sensible posters across the forums and some perhaps who don’t frequent them?
I can’t remember that last time we went for a curry after winning a game and as were have one next week, can’t see a win on the cards.

Wonder if the select XI will even beat Watcombe tonight? Not expecting anything great though!

Futile game exposing yet again that somebody decided to arrange a pointless exercise that should never have taken place. From the outside TUFC seems to be really losing it - increasingly we look less like a professional football club and more like a Sunday park side.
