Just when it looked like a deserved victory for England, a pinpoint looped equalising header from just about their only chance deep in injury time - just like watching Torquay!!!!

How on earth did we not win that match ? To describe their goal as a pinpoint looping header is nonsense, as it could have gone anywhere, but luckily eluded England's defence for the only time in the match. Replacing Rooney was a big mistake, and not replacing Kane, who had a very poor game, with Vardy and his pace was another.

I did say to the Mrs I thought Vardy should come on after we scored to exploit the space that would be created as Russia pushed forward and to try to get a two goal cushion. Good performance overall though....

Blame the manager! Obviously his Hart was in the wrong place! Only Jo king! On a more serious note there is usually several mistakes made during the game that lead to a goalkeeper being able to make a mistake in the first place. I'll credit a goalkeeper for a goal scored because it's a team game just as I'll criticise outfield players for a goal conceded! If that makes any sense!
