I want Rusden in the enxt round.
I have a dislike of Newport after the way the whole day seemed to involve all Torquay fan getting held up for hours because the police thought we were to violent that we couldnt be left alone and have to be escorted in.
Also I would like to see Lee Phillips back, strange it will be seeing him in a different shirt here but I think he`ll defintely get a good reception.

Rushden & Diamonds have won 5-3 on penalties against Newport.
So it looks like a renunion with ¬Super` Lee Phillips. It should be a good game hopefully. I tihink we have the edge over them in the match seeing as we won at thier place 3-1 and plus they have transfer-listed nearly half thier team.

I see Rushden managed to get only 421 fans (47 Newport and 374 home fans) to their game tonight - so it's not only us having huge drops in attendance for Trophy games. I know they don't have a huge fan base anyway, but that kind of crowd is an absolute joke IMO!

I think it is more than a Joke Andy and it has to be a real worry for R.D, as things seem to be only getting worse for more and more people, I wonder how many clubs will still be around to even start next season.

....................and who watched AFC Bournemouth lose out on nearly a quarter of a million pounds on Setanta last night? With their tough replay at Blyth Spartans poised at nil-nil, they brought on striker and "Rigsby" lookalike Brett Pitman who promptly got himself sent off after his first challenge saw a late crash tackle from the side earn a straight red. Then, enter our old friend Alan "Offside" .connell. Not long on, he was presented with a clear strike on goal with only the keeper to beat and he pulled it wide (or had he spotted an "injured" opponent? : ; Blyth were soon to bury the Cherries with a goal of stunning quality (break, cross and volley) and the 744 mile, three night return journey gave young .connell plenty of time to thumb through his autograph collection on the way home . Just think of all those Blackburn ones he's missed out on!
