Masters Snr. has denied that his son has been made a director or has any shares!!! Everyone seems to have a 'source close to the club' these days, and mine says Masters Snr still wants in at United. To be honest, though, the level of intrigue and dudgeon around the club is such that I reckon even the major personalities involved don't really know what's happening!

Signing players from the area I grew up in,we are now a complete embarrassment pinching buckland athletic players, don't think I will be parting with 20 quid to see DSL players although to be fair they can't possibly be worse than we have.we are a bloody laughing stock, and the fact they still want 20 quid is nothing short of frigging robbery, the faithful will turn on them very shortly

Reminiscent of the David Webb era. Allegedly Toby Ajala coming back,is he really going to make that much difference, the Webb era is looking rather a Rosie period to this lot at present, what a load of borrox we have got to show promotion form from now ,yeh right dream on

Ajala coming back can't be a bad thing. And remember if we weren't safe from getting relegated back in the day, we would be where we are now then.

If that's the case then will Corderoy or Fisher be keeper number one? If he does come back, will that leave us with 2 back up keepers? Fisher's been on the books before having been one of 50 players we had in the 2009/10 season making zero appearances.

The thing about Grant Fisher and goalkeeping coaching I don't yet understand, is that if he is understudy to Lavercombe, Lavercombe will be getting all his coaching at Wigan. So who is left to coach? Corderoy?

Apart from our joint leading goalscorer being released/let go for personal reasons, I guess no news is good news?

Just the sort of tonic we needed before Christmas, with a fine statement issued by the Board.
'Everything is looking positive' they assure us, combined with a pledge of full backing for King Kev.

The goings on at the Club over the past few days and the release of a statement will mean NOTHING unless there is a demonstrable improvement in results and performances in forthcoming games. If there is a failure to bring in 3-4 players to augment the somewhat ill-timed departures and no Plan B in place then we may as well kiss goodbye to any (perhaps unlikely) chances of remaining in the higher eschilons of the Bananarama League! The latest moves could represent the last throws of the dice!

I'm going to open a bottle of wine to toast this news which goes a long way to putting the current worries regarding the quality of the team and the fact that we don't have the pot to piss in behind us.
