Aldershot had obviously watched the DVD's of our recent games. especially th eone called 'How to score against Torquay' Innnnnnnnnnnn one - free kick - not enough players in the wall, poor 'keeper positioning (though we had a goal keeping coach?)- 1 nil down Innnnnnnnnnnn two - players waltzing through, had enough time to play 'keep me uppy' - lays the ball off - 2 nil down and game over. We are now in a mini relegation battles and don't look like winning it. I can remember in pre-season saying to a wise man from Surry that the way we played in PS we'd be in the bottom four by the end of August. All we got wrong was the month. So PSF aren't about how we play, formation etc. - arse it is. Nice to see some of the old faces in the Crows Nest after the game, where most, if not all the players were - boy did they look down in the dumps. Thought that Berry, Hurst, Smith and Marsh had decent games. Disappointed with Shephard on the wing and Heslop in midfield (were they both Cox the Messiah signings?). Also think that the wrong forward was released - should have kept Malaky and released Yeoman. Yours, Poltroon and idiot from Torquay.

Nicholson has his work cut out but it was never going to happen overnight. In the last 2 games 3 of the 4 goals have been free kicks and when a player runs at them with the ball the defence stands there and watches them waltz through. First thing Nico has to sort out is the defence. We gotta start finishing with clean sheets, even if that means 0 - 0. Yes, it is too easy for any team at the moment to score. However. Defence starts at the front and almost every area has scope for improvement.
