Subs: Yeoman, Thompson, Seabright, Ofori Acheampong - one missing! I wonder if Tonge has left the building? Injured, apparently. Won't be starting anytime soon if a fit Berry stays with us.

Just as I expected, the bad guys won...well we have been playing badly! It will be interesting to see how Berry played, if OK, that's one half of our problems over!

Fantastic, hopefully restores belief and confidence. Briscoe, Downes, berry and cruise were stand outs for me. Bowman also much improved. Well done lads!!

Very tense watching the last half an hour and would have breathed a bit easier if Ajala had put that one on one away. Top quality goals from Briscoe and playing in the hole really seems to suit him. Akinde very quiet tonight so defence must have done something right!

I still think mid-table is as much as we can hope for with so many unproven youngsters in the team. We'll get some good unexpected away wins, but we'll have some unexpected slip-ups. I said before the season started that I would be happy with mid-table if we played exciting football, developed young talent and got a bit of a grip on the desperate financial situation. I'll stick with that.

Should have been a few more goals Ajala ( lucky to stay on perhaps after a poor challenge) played well but missed a sitter put on a plate for him by sub Offorie second half. Still looked wide open at times when we pushed so many men forward. Some really good goals the best for me was Briscoe's second curled from distance around a defender before skipping off a wet surface past the desperately diving keeper. Solid at the back in general and just about did enough defensively as Barnet gradually ran out of puff and left themselves wide open at the back chasing the game. Berry was pretty good and looked a better option than Dale Tonge but its one game and perhaps too early to judge. Downes again was dominant in the air and organised well and despite letting them back into the game we dug in and showed plenty of character to see it out for three invaluable points to at least halt the slide down the table. Good work rate and tried to pass it when we could in difficult conditions. Cruise is still a worry defensively just doesn't read the attacker quickly enough and can get caught out on the wrong side.Cameron did ok but his early season free running form has deserted him. Pleased for the supporters who traveled and were who were magnificent throughout though they did have plenty to cheer about. Ref? some poor decisions particularly first half when he failed to play our advantage when Bowman was one on one with the keeper. Lets hope we can follow this result with another similar or improved performance against another very capable side thats if the pitch survives this torrential rain.

Subs: Yeoman, Thompson, Seabright, Ofori Acheampong - one missing! Odofin was the other sub. I assume that either Harding is injured yet again or he is very much out of favour with Mr Hargreaves. Leaves us short of midfield cover.

Pity we have been so poor since the end of September, when we were hoping this game would have seen us still breathing down Barnet's neck. No matter, we are where we are, and there's a long way to go yet!

I'm sure I heard Hargreaves say that the team travelled up last Saturday??? One minute we can't go up the day before and then it's suddenly three days before!!
