Well said Mr Downs. I too have been keeping a lower profile of late due to some of the vitriol that is posted. Perhaps some of our colleagues need to get more of a life, a brain or do something useful with all that anger bubbling up within.

Joss is up before the beak very shortly, and I think there is only going to be one outcome...So it's either the return of Mansell or the return of Craig...I know which one I would go for! Probably depends on which layout the manager wishes to adopt. Yesterdays 4-4-2 requires both central midfielders to be able to win the ball, tackle and (hopefully) get box to box for 90 minutes. Whenever i've seen Craig, he seems incapable of doing any of them no matter how good he is at corners or free kicks. If you dont have possession of the ball, it doesnt matter how sweeetly someone can hit the ball... The big difference last night was the performance of the wide players. They created danger and space, both looked good tracking back and assisting the fullback to keep a solid look to the defence. Along with Enoch and Benners, the whole attacking quartet can take a bow for their performance yesterday...

We still have Harding who is the type of midfielder you mention, who seems to have upped his game since his injury. I guess the thought of Craig threading a seventy yard pass through a crowd of opposition players, and the ball then being picked up by Yeoman who chips the ball from twenty yards into the back of the net past a stranded keeper (shit, I should be writing stories for Roy of The Rovers) is only a pipe dream, as I doubt either of them will play for us again!
You mention the big difference in performance from the forwards, something we have been waiting to happen for ages...they still didn't score though, which is still a worry. Still, any improvement is...well, an improvement!

At last...a win! It seems that Hargreaves has finally managed to instil a bit of passion into the team, an attribute of his that has at last rubbed off.
I did mention that I had a feeling (not that sort of feeling Simon...someone asked me last week if I could remember the first time I had sex..."First time" I said, "I can't even remember the last time!") we would get out of this mess and I still do, even though it's nigh on impossible!
I see that Showumni has turned into a good signing, maybe not so much for his footballing skills, but he seems to have a good effect on the team, in particular the younger players. Something which we desperately need in the team at this present moment.

Of course, in every TUFC performance there has to be a downside! Last nights downside was the fact that yet again (the very reason we're in this bloody predicament) our forwards didn't score...again the defenders had to do the scoring. It has to change or even Simon's un-flagging optimism will finally end! Hi del.....there's seems to be a tad more optimism in the last week....not a great deal no....a few more of believe we a fighting chance now of avoiding the drop....we are up for this....the attitude of the players seems to me anyway they are up for the challenge ahead in the final countdown of the season.........oh and del will always believe and remain optimistic......can you make sure you have that feeling for the rest of the season mate ha ha ha ha......si
