Not good, our performance level was slightly down from that against Exeter and Plymouth had enough to deserve a win. I did say after the home Plymouth game they looked a pretty strong side that, if they could find a goalscorer, looked like a playoff or even automatic promotion team. Reid is now on 12 and even Alessandra(?) has more than our top scorer... Omce again it sounded like we couldnt convert our chances.

Not sure where we go from here. Half way point and no real reason to believe we will pull away from the bottom of the table. I'm starting to believe Knill has used all his options and is just hanging on in there by his fingernails plenty suggesting he should be on his bike but no one with any real constructive alternative. The question for me is out of all the struggling teams down and around us, who wants to retain there league status the most? As a club do we have the desire or the resources to take any necessary action to try and halt the slide into non league. Can we even afford to put up any sort of a fight? be that a change of manager or investment in players. Will we pull out all the stops to avoid the worst? As club were like a rabbit caught in the headlights afarid to do anything one way or another and I can only see the situation compounding and deteriorating as we continue to lose games and fall back. Paying now for poor pre season preparation, poor to average signings and pie in the sky tactics that didn't work and were failing week after week though the manager failed to adopt change until a few weeks ago when most of the squad were drained of confidence. Alongside the odd disappearance of Nico and the omission of Pearce just after he was starting to look the part. Very odd. At our level fans have very little influence on big decisions. Sure we can voice our opinions on forums and have a moan at matches but ultimately its in the board room that will decide when a point is reached and action taken. I hope the situation doesn't linger on like last season when it was almost to late do do anything and we end up in a battle for points in the last week of the season or the way things are going we may well be cut adrift long before the last week this time around. With regard to TUFC I'm no longer the angry frustrated man I used to be in these situations its totally pointless and achieves little but I still care and would still like to see something a little positive coming from the board as they apear to have hibernated for the winter. Perhaps they learned a lesson from last season when Mr Baker was the mouthpiece and tried his best to appease the supporters. The clock is ticking and games are passing us by. Will we slip away quietly or go out with a bang?

Let's look at the positives.
That was the best pasty I have ever had - and, believe me, I've had a few.
Has Ivor Dewdney been knighted yet?

Jon's probably got the figures off the top of his head, if he can tear himself from one of Dewdney's finest...

Jon's probably got the figures off the top of his head, if he can tear himself from one of Dewdney's finest... Not wishing to tear Jon away from his pasty, on a quick look over the last 40 seasons, whichever division we've been in, we've finished in the bottom 8 on 16 occasions with 9 sesaons in the top 8. It looks even worse over the last 30 years with 15 seasons in the bottom 8...
