Cracking night, best one of the past three years and nice to bump into Stefano as well! Yes nice to see you and I was of exactly the same mind - I have enjoyed all their what now seems to be annual visits to Ivybridge but last night was the best. Amazing how 5 people who all hold a concessionary bus pass can keep on improving!  Not appearing at Ivybridge this May  |

Not appearing at Ivybridge this May No disappointing. Fairport had become an annual fixture but I heard a suggestion that the toilets are too far away from the stage! I will have to content myself this spring with The Leylines at Kingskerswell Parish Church on Sunday 24 March and at The Acorn Theatre in Penzance on Easter Saturday 20 April 2019. |

Not appearing at Ivybridge this May No disappointing. Fairport had become an annual fixture but I heard a suggestion that the toilets are too far away from the stage! Me I'll be seeing: April - Specials @ Exeter Great Hall October - Al Stewart @ Exeter Phoenix November - Steve Hackett @ Cardiff St. Davids Hall Fairport normally do a gig at Exeter Corn Exchange in February, will make sure I seem them in 2020!! |

Sounds good. They were at Exeter Corn Exchange 3 weeks ago and I thought about going but was sure that Ivybridge would be included in the spring tour. That is the problem for February 2020 at the Corn Exchange. They do normally play there in February, but then again they normally play Ivybridge in May! |

Just saw Andrea Bocelli at the Amway in Orlando. Second time we've been to one of his concerts and both have been brill. Highly recommended if you get the chance. Agree superb seen him 3 times once at Hyde Park and twice at Wembley Arena - and of course he is a perfect fit for my Italiaphile nature! |

And if you want a classical evening, interspersed with some excellent humour, go to an André Rieu concert. You will not be disappointed, not least when they perform 'Blue Danube'. Yes another good one caught him at Cortona in Tuscany - open air in the wonderful main square - superb entertainment. |

Excellent gig at Exeter Great Hall with the Specials, despite no Ghost Town Thought Terry Hall looked ill, couldn't go more than a song without a puff on his e-cigarette and didn't utter one word all night (bar singing!) bar at the end when he said "Thank you" - poor sod www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-47088000 |

The only downside was that the lovely Fiona wasn't on reception and I had to deal with a guy with a beard! The bonus is that it is a blank day in the Rugby Union World Cup calendar so gives me something to do between Wales v Fiji on the Wednesday and Australia v Georgia on the Friday! |
