"help their customers through the buying process"...save the BS for your clients.
Your use of this forum as a platform for your anti-semitic conspiracy theories is on record. As are your blanket comments about people from Israel. Your weasel words are those of a practiced bullshitter. Swap London for a beach resort in Thailand? For a fortnight, sure. The seedy life of an expat holds no appeal whatsoever.

Whoops, wish I hadn't started this thread now!
Anyway, back on topic, after much searching and deliberation I did buy a new fridge/freezer...

Did make me laugh, someone from London calling Koh Samui life seedy. Anyway, enjoy the seedy pictures and come out and see it for yourself.......it's truely amazing and I feel priviledged to be allowed to live in such a beautiful place. www.molon.de/galleries/Thailand/KohSamui/

Beach Republic? Isn't that the name of Chris Hargreaves' shop in Sidmouth?
No, sorry, that's Sports Republic.
But I have heard that Beach Republic's latest venture is a residential beach resort on the cliffs between Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton. Yep, Dave the Gull is coming home. Farewell Koh Samui; hello Ladram Bay. That'll see the back of those tacky caravans. A much welcome touch of class! Budleigh is getting his name down for a penthouse sky villa this very minute. Paul Buckle, I hear, has already placed his deposit. And Lambeth is considering an offer as landscape consultant with Stefano's name pencilled in as head of security.
I've seen the Dave the Gull video on You Tube - he looks and sounds vaguely human in spite of his online persona - and I'm convinced fractional ownership in East Devon can be a winner.
Mind you, it'll require a fair dollop of neuro-linguistic programming and covert hypnosis. But Dave's the man for it and he may even pick up the odd award from the Express and Echo.

No plans to bring the brand to Europe Barty. One of the PR companies thought it would be a good idea to stick me in front of a camera. Despite my protestations they did it and I squirm every time I see it. After a really successful year and multiple awards I resigned from BR 2 weeks ago and I'm off to start my next adventure. But I can still get you a good rate if you want to come and stay! I'm sure I can find a skip for lambie.

Some very nice pictures there Lambie and London is a fine city indeed. Its full of wonderful buildings, wonderful culture and history and I always enjoy any time I spend there. I have always felt the people of London showed how special they were after the tube bombings, they did not let it change their way of life and rightly so. Home is where your heart is, some will love City life, others will hate it, each to their own and what makes some people happy won't others. I do not think I could live in a city, I won't no that for sure unless I try it one day, but that is unlikely to happen as I'm so happy living down here in the Bay as It suits my needs and wants. Dave has made his choice where he lives in the world, it does sound like paradise and maybe it is to him. If only I could get on one of those flying machines, if I could I might even end up agreeing with him

Sadly the footie here is complete pants. The Thai national team has had several high profile Brits as managers but all to no avail. The Gulls would give them a serious run for their money. Seriously lambie, you would get bored after 3 weeks? Come on out and I promise you it will be anything but boring. I never tire of looking out over the stunning views and breath taking scenery. Loads of stuff to do, can't say I've ever been bored in Asia. Each country has it's quirks, try India for a real assualt on your sanity, Singapore for a look at how Orwell thought things might turn out, Cambodia for it's history and my favourite place on the planet Angkhor Wat, Loas for it's beer, Burma for its potential, Malaysia for its contradictions......I could go on and on. I regularly get requests from friends or friends of friends asking me to be a safety net contact for their niece, nephew, brother etc over here for a holiday in case they get in to trouble, no problem. All i ask if anyone fancies popping over is that they smuggle me in a pasty.

I have no patriotic attraction to either London or the UK, and having lived and worked abroad and travelled fairly extensively, I'm aware that there is a world and a way of living beyond these shores. Singapore holds no appeal (except its botanical gardens), but there was a strike by Chinese bus drivers there a few weeks ago, the first strike there for years, so that's encouraging . India, China, and the Far East all appeal immensely. But then so does Central and South America. If only flights weren't so expensive...

Is that a cheesegrater in the background ?
Incidentally (and I know this isn't the thread to carry on the Disability Benefits discussion), I did give one of our neighbours- who happens to be blind- a cheesegrater for Christmas. He got in touch today to say it was the best book he'd ever read ;D

I might even have taken a picture of it myself. But who is it? It wasn't who I thought and I needed to look it up. But why him there? But why not?
