Much improved on the last performance I saw. Granted, it wasn't brilliant (seemed to be playing too high up in the first half and too deep by the end) but you wouldn't expect it to be. Both sides looked pretty good. On the basis of that match, you'd expect both to at least be in the top half of the table
Oh and Jarvis has been as good as he was yesterday for a while now. Haven't understood the criticism of him. He's not brilliant but he's not poor either. It's just taken this long for him to find (or be given) a position which suits him

Hi James nice to talk with you yesterday and even nicer to see you back on the TFF as I know our timbo was upset you were not around for a while after he put up lots to train pictures with you in mind.

I thought it was a decent second half performance yesterday, Jarvis, Easton, Downes and Craig were standout performers for me. I also thought McDonald stepped up too. Very frustrating we couldn't hold on but the last few minutes, you could kind of see it coming....

I still cannot understand why we had to wear our second team kit.
Surely Northampton must have known our first team colours so why turn up it a luminous green!!!

And unless the ref was colour blind, why on earth did he not spot that there may be a clash of kits before the game even started!!!  Ludicrous. |
