A little bird tells me it's the old bugger's birthday today so let's big up the man without whom the TFF would be much the poorer.
Happy Birthday, Nick!

Happy birthay Nick. You are a model member on the TFF and one who is so well thought of. Hope you are around for another 50 odd years as you have played such a big part on the TFF since you joined. Cant do our special birthay smilly on my phone so hope Rob can do it.
Have a great day
Dave

Thank you for reminding me of another birthday, Mr Wildebeeste. A year and nine days ahead of you in the age stakes I believe.
An icy start in the West Riding this morning. I better gift myself a pair of new shoes before I come a cropper

Happy Birthday Barton ! Now if you'd only had the good sense to stay in the South West, 'The Cobblers' could have brought a new pair of shoes down for you when they visit Plainmoor for our next home game. The crowd at The Impact Arena Alfreton erupt as Birthday greetings for Barton are announced over the tannoy.

Happy Birthday Barty!
How many birthdays, I wonder, have been spent watching Torquay United in action?
For a Barty Birthday Quiz Special, what is the only town that the mighty TUFC has visited twice on Barty's birthday?
A little clue for those who need it - Chelston went to both matches and did not experience the dizziness he usually suffers on his way to away games.

Happy Birthday Barty! How many birthdays, I wonder, have been spent watching Torquay United in action? Looking at the "On this Day" page at www.torquayunited-mad.co.uk I'd say five: 1982; 1994; 1996; 2005 and 2011. I missed York in 1977 - I saw Everton win 1-0 at Stamford Bridge that day (bizarrely the second successive birthday that I'd happily seen Chelsea lose). Pretty certain I didn't see Torquay v Middlesbrough in 1966. Two birthdays at Bramall Lane: 1976 and 2011 Anybody born five weeks after me would have had the same game on the day they were born and on their 50th birthday: Torquay v Birmingham in the FA Cup. Can anybody make that claim?
