This is the last friendly match before the start of the season and thus will be the final chance for Ling to play his strongest team and for them to gel together and gain that match fitness. From the Burton XI thread there are probably only two or three places up for grabs in most fans eyes but at the end of the day, only one person's opinion really counts.....
Truro are not a bad side and amazingly are in the Blue Square South after rapid promotions through the leagues but will find the going much tougher from here on. If it feels like half the Torquay side have ended up going North to Rovers then the other half seems to have gone West to Truro with Palmer the latest recruit on six months loan there.
Truro have recently drawn 2-2 against Yeovil and will be a tough nut to crack but hopefully the side can have one last confidence boosting win prior to Burton. In doing so, hopefully, we won't pick up any fresh injuries and it would also be good to see both Kee and Leadbitter play at least some part in proceedings.
The first to present his case seems right, till another comes forward and questions him.
