Barrow in November? Welcome to the brave new world of Division Four. At least it provided the opportunity of a proper "man's drink" that never varies. The Barrow team could have done with a crate of Case's when they were marooned in fog in the High Peak of Derbyshire the week before. Instead the poor souls didn't even have enough bags of salt for their crisps.
A plea from Barrow AFC that staunch supporters come forward and recommend promising young players to the club. They surely wouldn't have ignored Aussie's advice in such cavalier fashion as may have been his experience.
