Rovers don't seem to have had a memorable season there, other than the game against Darlington on 25 January.
I wonder what was the story behind that extraordinary result.

Wally Ardron had been a great goal scorer for Rotherham and Nottingham Forest. More recently he'd been trainer/physio at Doncaster. You wonder who played in that TV All Stars XI.
Her Majesty's Army as the New Model Army. An interesting description in those immediate post-National Service days.
I'd be surprised if there was a Doncaster Municipal Restaurant any longer. The Central Pork Stores also sound like a throwback to a planned economy.
